Behind the facade - living with chronic pain

Ever wondered what it looks like to live with chronic pain?

Well, today is your lucky day.

The thing is, millions of us live this life, often in silence behind closed doors, showing only our happy self to the rest of the world.

People living with chronic pain are your friends, your relatives, your coworkers, the person who poured your coffee this morning.

I mean it when I say I'm not asking for pity not sympathy. All we need is to feel heard and validated.

Even when our pain doesn't show up on scans. Even if you think "it's all in our heads" - like a pain doctor told me once.

Again and again, I will repeat this: each and every human being on this planet has a story, that you can't tell from just looking at their face.

So please, be kind. Be kind because you never know what a kind word or gesture will do for the person on the receiving end.

Wherever you are on your journey of living with pain or illness, get in touch if you think I can help empower you to live a life where pain or illness is only a part of what you are, no longer what drains your time and energy.
